Online poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the dealer saying "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players are given five cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s first card, you must either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original ante, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantaneously to the house. After the bet is the face off. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a figure equal to the original bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The dealer pony’s up money even with your wager and set expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
