Online poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the other players receive 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original ante, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your ante goes immediately to the bank. After the wager comes the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with a sum on par with the initial wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The house pays out chips equal to your bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
